Who runs this site

PickYourOwn.nz (pickyourown.nz) is operated by Martin Čtvrtníček, a sole trader registered in the Czech Republic under business ID 88067882, at Opatovice 117, 682 01 Vyškov, Czech Republic. Contact: info@pickyourown.nz.

The site is an independent directory. It is not owned or operated by any farm, tourism body or growers' association, and no farm pays to be listed or to appear higher.

What this site is

We publish information about New Zealand farms where visitors pick their own produce. We are not the farms. We take no bookings, sell no tickets, handle no payments and are not party to anything between you and a farm. Every visit, booking and purchase is directly between you and the grower, on their terms.

Accuracy, and its limits

We take the accuracy of listings seriously: details come from each farm's own website or Facebook page wherever possible, every listing carries the date we last checked it, and we leave a field empty rather than guess at it.

Even so, a directory cannot be up to the minute. Picking depends on the weather and on how the crop is running: seasons open early, fruit sells out, farms close for a day or for good, and prices change mid-season. Always check with the farm before you travel. We are not liable for a wasted trip, and we cannot accept responsibility for what happens during your visit, which is a matter between you and the farm.

Nothing here excludes rights you have under the New Zealand Fair Trading Act 1986 or the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 that cannot lawfully be excluded.

We link to farms' own websites and social pages so you can check the current position yourself. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices.

Content and reuse

The descriptions, structure and compiled data on this site are ours. You are welcome to link to any page. Please do not scrape or republish the directory wholesale. Farm names, logos and photographs belong to the farms themselves.

Corrections and removals

If a listing is wrong, out of date, or you run the farm and would rather not be listed, email info@pickyourown.nz. We correct and remove on request, without argument.

Changes

These terms may change as the site does. The date at the top always reflects the current version.
